Yes that sounds very frustrating indeed and not how the app is intended to work. We are sorry you are having difficulty.
The intent is that the app will store an undo when you change tool and after a few seconds of inactivity (when you are not drawing). For example choose a tool and draw a line. After a few seconds the Undo should be active.
We are trying to reproduce the issue... do you know if this feature was broken when first started using the app?
In the mean time you can try the following: 1) we have just update tInker Photo to version 1.1. Could you see if the upgrade resolves the issue?
2) If you haven't saved too many tInks, you could try to delete the app and then re-install it. (you can save your tInks to the photo album or email them to yourself.
We understand that neither of these solution are particularly elegant. Any more information would be greatly appreciate.
I can't get this to work at all on my I pad. I can import a photo as background but none of the tools work then. If I import a photo on the background it disappears when I hit the tool button. I have used the regular tinker with no problems.
We are trying to reproduce this here. So far we haven't been able to reproduce the tools not working. Can you check to make sure the color is not completely transparent.
Make sure to tap the screen to paste the imported photo, otherwise the photo is not really fixed on the drawing and is still only attached to the paste tool.
To get to the bottom of this We would like to have any more information about this issue you can give.
Help! I bought the app 3 days ago and I am trying to use it with Christmas Eve pictures. But as soon as I try to use a selected picture the app closes.
So sorry to hear your issue. We are about to release a new version that has an improved photo selector. It will fix this problem, but unfortunately not in time for Christmas :(
Please accept our apologies for your poor experience as we improve this product.
There is a new update that just came out today, version 1.6. We believe that it will fix the issue when pasting images.
The new release also adds a better way to crop images befor pasting them.
To rotate images touch the screen with two fingers and rotate. The image will rotate... It is on our list to improve the sensitivity of this feature.

Love the app! My only issue is the undo is always grayed out. How do I activate it? I have to keep starting over when I mess up. Frustrating...

Hi
ReplyDeletePurchased the app today and looks good but i am having an issue adding photos, the app crashes 8 out of 10 times.
Also in your samples the photos have been rotated but there is no option to do this within the app.
Thanks
